You will find yourself taking notes and using a graphic organizer during this unit.

Remember: When you take notes, you want to summarize key ideas, not transcribe the reading.

You could also make note of any quotes you think might be helpful in your future essay

Don't forget to write down the article you're taking notes on - having the title and author could come in handy when you're using your information to write and essay.

Try different ways of taking notes - some people like lists, others like to use highlighters -- do what works for you.
