Wednesday, March 25- Algebra - One-Step Equations

Objective: Understand how to solve one-step equations.

We talked a lot about how algebra is the process of finding the unknown.

We call this unknown -- x or y or the letter of your choice -- a variable.

x + 2 = 4

Remember: We are (1) trying to find the variable and (2) keep the equation balanced.

ASSIGNMENT: Take the sentences and turn them into equations. If you want to practice solving these equations, go for it!!!!

Please bring your work to class on Wednesday. We will be going over it and talking about it in class.
