Thursday, Jan. 8 - The Scientific Method - Creating a Hypothesis
Objective: By the end of this lesson, you will know how to create a hypothesis.
A hypothesis is essentially a statement of what you think will happen. This must be written as a statement that can be tested. A classic example is that unicorn horns are made of gold. Unless you can find a unicorn, catch it and test its horn, this is not a hypothesis.
- Ask a question.
- Gather preliminary research.
- Formulate an answer.
- Write a hypothesis.
- Refine your hypothesis.
