Tuesday, Oct. 31 - Writing About Free Speech

This week we are going to begin a unit on Free Speech -- you should remember this from our study of the Bill of Rights.

We will read numerous texts on free speech over the next couple of weeks. You will then be asked to choose one of two articles and write an argumentative essay, taking a firm stand on one side or the other.

As you get ready to write this essay, you are going to want to take notes about what is happening in class. Make notes from the articles we read on the graphic organizer you will be given to use as evidence in your essay. 

Fill in the graphic organizer as you go along - this will make writing your essay MUCH easier!
